Mental Health + Entrepreneurship

First of all, I would like to start by saying - we ALL have something. Whether that be anxiety, exhaustion + burnout, imposter syndrome, etc. There is something we are all battling with - especially if you wear multiple hats within your daily life.

If you've been around awhile, you are aware that I recently had my fourth child. I say recently very loosely, as she is now 8 months old! Now, I regularly deal with anxiety, and have dealt with PPD before, but this time around has been quite the doozy. I do not wish these intense emotions and rollercoaster fears on anyone, but especially not someone who is also trying to balance being a small business owner. Or someone who is trying to be a good mother/friend/daughter/spouse/etc.

In the midst of my PPD fog, my boutique has taken quite the backseat. I am 1,000% sure many of you have noticed ha Dealing with my mental health has taken priority, and I want you to know that it is absolutely alright if you need to do that every now and then within your business. You cannot always be everything for everyone and sometimes taking a step back to regroup is just what your soul may need. Your customers understand and will be there when you're ready to return. Well, maybe not all of them, but your ideal customers - the ones you intentionally cater to and WANT to stick around, will.

I have been blessed with some incredible "ride or die" customers that support me and my family business no matter how lacking I am. I don't know why I use the term customer anymore, as most of our regulars have truly become my friends, and I look forward to visiting with them whenever I see them. They have stuck with me in some of my toughest moments, and for that I am so unbelievably thankful!

I want to continue to be fully transparent with all of you through this outlet + hope to be able to connect in one way or another. Thank you for being here <3
